🏈 Good Morning, Auburn Family! The Tigers return home after a hard-fought overtime battle in Nashville, where Auburn’s offense exploded for 563 yards. With a week to reset and refocus, Auburn turns its attention to its next home stand against Mercer this Saturday.

🟠 IMPACT Player. Auburn junior defensive lineman and team captain Keldric Faulk has been named a semifinalist for the prestigious Lott IMPACT Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top defensive player who excels both on and off the field.
A cornerstone of Auburn’s defense, Faulk has started all 10 games this season, recording 26 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks. Off the field, the Highland Home native has earned equal respect for his leadership, community involvement, and work with youth in his hometown.

🟠 The X Factor. Auburn linebacker Xavier Atkins has been named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award, given annually to college football’s top defensive player. The sophomore standout has emerged as one of the nation’s most disruptive defenders, leading the SEC in tackles (78) and tackles for loss (15.5), while ranking second nationally in TFLs and adding 7.5 sacks. Atkins has led Auburn in tackles in every SEC game this season, including three double-digit performances.
🟠 Air Attack. Auburn’s receiving duo of Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton Jr. delivered a historic showing last time out at Vanderbilt, becoming the first pair in program history to each record 10+ receptions in the same game. They combined for 21 catches, 245 yards and two touchdowns—the most by an Auburn duo since the 2014 Iron Bowl.

Defensively, Auburn continues to produce at an elite level. The Tigers rank 10th nationally in rushing defense (91.9 YPG) and are on pace to hold opponents under 100 rushing yards per game for the first time since 2003.
Auburn’s offense is also coming off its most explosive SEC performance in years. The Tigers posted 563 total yards at Vanderbilt — their highest output in a league game since 2019 — with quarterback Ashton Daniels accounting for 442 of those yards, the third-highest single-game total in program history.
On the ground, Jeremiah Cobb enters the week just 96 yards away from securing the 31st 1,000-yard rushing season in Auburn history.
🟠 Auburn Made – NFL Week 11 Highlights. Jonathan Jones, Jamien Sherwood, and Daniel Carlson delivered standout performances across the league this week.
Daniel Carlson (K, Las Vegas Raiders) — Carlson went a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals (45, 37, 35) in the Raiders’ Monday Night Football matchup with the Cowboys. With 218 career field goals, he leads all NFL kickers since 2018 and ranks second in Raiders history with 880 career points.
Jonathan Jones (CB, Washington Commanders) — Jones recorded a season-high six tackles, including four solo stops and his first sack since 2018, in the NFL’s first-ever game in Madrid, Spain. He added a pass breakup and allowed just two catches on 23 coverage snaps.

🟠 Auburn quarterbacks coach Kent Austin brings more than three decades of elite playing and coaching experience to the Tigers’ offensive staff. After serving as a senior analyst in 2023, Austin moved on-field last season and now enters his second year coaching Auburn’s quarterbacks in 2025.
A former CFL Grey Cup–winning head coach and longtime offensive coordinator, Austin has led successful offenses at multiple stops, including Liberty, Ole Miss, and in the Canadian Football League. He helped develop standout quarterbacks such as Malik Willis. Austin is known for his detail-driven approach, pro-style teaching, and steady leadership in the quarterback room.
“I feel very honored and blessed to be given this opportunity and thankful for the trust placed in me to develop our quarterbacks at Auburn.”

🟠 Dual-Threat. In just his second start, Ashton Daniels fueled Auburn’s offense with 442 total yards — 353 through the air and 89 on the ground — the most by a Tiger since Nick Marshall in the 2014 Iron Bowl.
🟠 Breakout Year. Xavier Atkins has emerged as one of the nation’s most explosive defenders in his first year at Auburn under DJ Durkin, leading the SEC in tackles for loss (15.5) and delivering back-to-back multi-sack SEC games.
