🟠 Senior Day Dub. Auburn rolled past Mercer 62-17 fueled by a big first start from freshman quarterback Deuce Knight. Knight opened the game with a 75-yard touchdown run on Auburn’s first play and finished with six total touchdowns (four rushing, two passing), accounting for 401 of Auburn’s 547 yards. Cam Coleman’s 10-yard touchdown catch pushed the lead to 35-17 before halftime, and Knight connected with Malcolm Simmons for a 91-yard touchdown in the third quarter as Auburn topped 500 yards of offense for a second straight game.

Auburn’s defense settled in and produced three takeaways. Elijah Melendez opened the second half with a 41-yard pick-six, Kaleb Harris secured his first career interception, and senior Chris Murray logged two sacks — highlighted by a strip-sack recovered by Jay Hardy.

🟠 Thank You, Seniors! Auburn honored 20 players for Senior Day on Saturday.

🟠 IMPACT Honor. Kicker Alex McPherson was honored with the 2025 Pat Sullivan Impact Award, recognizing the character and perseverance he’s shown through significant adversity. McPherson has battled through multiple health challenges over the last two seasons, losing more than 40 pounds before his return to the team this summer. McPherson ranks first among Auburn’s all-time leaders in field goal percentage (88.4%) and continues to be a model of resilience and leadership on and off the field.

🟠 Freshman Honors. Quarterback Deuce Knight was named SEC Freshman of the Week, On3 True Freshman of the Week, and 247Sports’ True Freshman of the Week after a record 6 touchdowns in his first career start. He was also PFF College’s Highest Graded Week 13 Quarterback with a 91.1 grade. The left-hander accounted for 401 total yards in the 62-17 win, tying the Auburn record with six total touchdowns.

🟠 National Signing Day. Auburn welcomes its next class in less than one week on National Signing Day, from Wednesday Dec. 3–5.

🟠 Iron Bowl Under the Lights. Auburn closes the regular season Saturday night against Alabama in the Iron Bowl.

Auburn brings momentum on both sides of the ball. The offense has exploded over the last two games, leading the SEC in scoring (50.0 PPG) and ranking third in total offense (555.0 YPG) in that span.

Defensively, Auburn continues to set the tone up front. The Tigers rank 11th nationally and 4th in the SEC in rushing defense (94.0 YPG), have held five SEC opponents under 100 rushing yards, and enter the Iron Bowl with 17 takeaways and a +11 turnover margin.

🟠 Auburn Made – NFL Week 12 Highlights. Former Tigers delivered big defensive performances across the league this week.

  • Carlton Davis III (CB, New England Patriots) — Davis was everywhere in New England’s 26–20 win over the Bengals, posting season highs with eight tackles and three fourth-quarter pass breakups. He allowed just two catches on seven targets, earning a season-best 88.7 PFF defensive grade.

  • Derick Hall (LB/EDGE, Seattle Seahawks) — Hall logged a career-high eight pressures, three tackles, and his first sack of the season in the Seahawks' 30–24 win over the Titans. He played a season-high 40 snaps and finished with a team-best 91.1 PFF grade.

  • Jamien Sherwood (LB, New York Jets) — Sherwood matched his season high with 13 tackles against Baltimore, his sixth double-digit tackle game this year. He’s up to 102 tackles on the season and ranks among the NFL’s most productive defenders since 2024.

  • Colby Wooden (DT, Green Bay Packers) — In Green Bay’s 23–6 win over Minnesota, Wooden finished with four tackles and a tackle for loss. He’s now at a career-best six TFLs on the season and sits one tackle shy of matching his first two years combined, with career highs in PFF overall, run defense, and pass-rush grades.

🟠 Tight ends coach Ben Aigamaua is in his third season at Auburn and has quickly built a proven track record on the Plains. In his first year, Rivaldo Fairweather set the Auburn tight end single-season catches record (38), earned All-SEC honors, and finished his career as the program’s all-time leader in TE receptions (69). With 13 years of coaching experience, including SEC and Liberty stops, Aigamaua’s groups have become reliable, NFL-ready pieces of Auburn’s offense.

🟠 PFF Honors. Four Tigers landed on PFF’s SEC Team of the Week after standout performances: Bobby Jamison-Travis, Kayin Lee, Xavier Atkins, and Malcolm Simmons. The group helped power Auburn’s win with impact plays on both sides of the ball.

🟠 He’s Not Human. Cam Coleman’s 1,280 career receiving yards are the 3rd most by an Auburn receiver before the end of his sophomore season. He is one of nine players in program history with 85+ receptions, 1,200+ yards and 13+ TDs.
